Maenam Trek is a scenic one-day hike from Ravangla, Sikkim, winding through the lush Maenam Wildlife Sanctuary, known for its rich forests of rhododendron, magnolia, and oak. The trail ascends to Maenam Peak (approx. 3,300 meters) and continues to Bhaledunga, offering stunning panoramic views of Mt. Kanchenjunga and the Eastern Himalayas. Along the way, trekkers can spot diverse flora and fauna, including rare species like the Red Panda, Himalayan deer, wild cats, pheasants, sunbirds, and eagles.
