What Our Guests Say

  • A paradise place to feel good
An all-round perfect stay! A totally loving family that cooks healthy and delicious food. Plus very nice and clean rooms. The guesthouse is very quiet and nestled in nature. The peace and quiet and the view are absolutely fantastic! I was traveling with a scooter, so it was no problem to explore the area. But there is a very nice path to Ravangla (about 30 minutes). A perfect place to unwind!

  • Holiday · Solo This was one of my favorite places I've ever stayed. It had an amazing view from the common patio area. You could see far into the distance West Sikkim. The food was amazing and the hosts are very welcoming and friendly. The afternoon snacks were a nice bonus. There are trails (shortcuts) nearby. I took an amazing trek one day to Buddha Park. The trek was beautiful along the way. It wasn't easy for me but I very much appreciated the exercise and challenge of getting there. I hope to come back and stay here again! • Holiday · Solo Solo female foreign traveller. I stayed here recently & found Three Sisters professionally managed and excellent value for money. The accommodation was comfortable & clean, and the food prepared was local village cuisine, tasty & nutritious. The homestay has a great closeknit family vibe, they welcome visitors as if they were also family. The views from the patio are spectacular!! Highly recommended. As a footnote - try their black ginger tea! One of the best things I've tasted in my life! Rooms: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Location: 4/5 Hotel highlights : Great view, Quiet, Child-friendly, Great value

  • It is an authentic homestay with 5th generation native beautiful Nepalese house and home grown firms, belongs to Mr. Sanjeev Rai ji, from Nepalese Rai community, in their tranquil native village, outskirts of Ravangla town, deep inside the greens and woods. They offered warm hospitality, their rich culture experience, cozy rooms with all basic amenities, home cooked delicious native cuisine meals cooked with home grown vegetables, served in their traditional crockeries. If you r looking to experience the native Himalayan village culture and lives, this is the place. Their collection of orchids, cactus, miniature farm lands, pond gives traveller a very embracing experience. Cherry on top, they also arrange for a village walk, which gives complete experience of the local livelihood, trees & flowers, flora & fauna. We felt great to be there, wish to visit again.

  • I was so glad to find Selep homestay online as a friend and I travelled towards western Sikkim after some tiring travel in eastern Sikkim (Lachung and Point Zero). Do yourself a favour and don't hesitate to book a stay at this lovely homestay surrounded by nature. Selep truly felt like a welcoming home away from home. The owners accomodated our every needs - including personally attenting to returning keys we had mistakenly forgotten to return to our hotel in Gangtok. Furthermore they organized two days of local hiking and exploration with an exceptional local guide named Khuzen who we now consider a friend. We especially enjoyed the history of the homestay - a location handed down and lovingly taken care of over four plus generations. That and the active farm with livestock and gardens free to explore were highlights. Finally, the food was amazing and lovingly cooked every day. I will never forget the thali and frequent rounds of tea delivered to our room. Thank you so much again for having us and we are already looking forward to staying here next time we pass through. • Holiday ❘ Family "An Exceptional Stay from Start to Finish" From the moment we stepped into this homestay, we knew we were in for something special. The hosts made us feel incredibly welcome, offering us homemade treats and taking the time to show us around their beautiful home. The room was not only spotless but also very comfortable, with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. It was clear that every detail, from the soft bedding to the fully equipped kitchen, was designed with guest comfort in mind. What really made our stay stand out was the genuine hospitality. The hosts shared insightful recommendations about the area and even invited us to enjoy a traditional home-cooked meal, which was an unforgettable experience. The tranquil, serene atmosphere of the location added to the overall relaxation we experienced. If you’re searching for a peaceful getaway with a personal touch, this homestay is the ideal spot. We left feeling rejuvenated and deeply connected to the local culture. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic and memorable stay! • Holiday ❘ Friends this is the second time I visited that place. the hospitality of the whole family of Sanjeev Da and his wife, his parents and children's are fabulous. we stayed here for two nights in group of approximately 13 people including a child and two infants. and the most admirable thing I observed, even your own relatives can't pay that much importance and attention on you. For first time comers i want to say one last thing that don't think for food and lodging facilities, because they are far beyond this parameter. • My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful homestay at Deythang, Ravangla in Sikkim, and it was an experience we'll cherish forever. The place was tucked away in a quiet corner, surrounded by stunning views that were a treat for the eyes and the soul. Every morning, we woke up to the soothing sounds of nature and breathtaking scenery that instantly put us at ease. The tranquility of the location was matched by the warmth of our hosts. They were incredibly kind and went out of their way to make us feel at home. They truly lived by the principle of "Atithi Devo Bhava" (the guest is God), treating us not just as guests but as part of their family. The food was simple but delicious, prepared with care and served with love. The host’s family, including their three daughters, was very friendly and cordial. We spent a lot of time talking with the host's family. One of the highlights of our trip was Sheru, the family dog. Sheru was extremely friendly and often accompanied us on our walks, eagerly guiding us through the paths like an old friend showing us around his hometown. We left the homestay with heavy hearts but took with us memories of a peaceful retreat, the kindness of a loving family, and the quiet companionship of Sheru. We can’t wait to go back to that lovely place in Sikkim. We truly miss everything about our stay and recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the mountains. • Holiday · Couple One of the best homestays we have ever stayed at - such a gem. Location wise: It is a gorgeous extremely quiet location in the mountain village of Dethang with amazing views of the valley mountains, mt Pandim and Kanchenjunga. There is a beautiful trail that takes you into the small town of Ravangla and the Buddha Park - takes about 45 mins with a slow incline upwards through mountain farms and forest. There is also a trail to an amazing hidden waterfall with a pool of freezing Himalayan water that you can dip in! We also hired a car for the day and visited some beautiful monasteries as well as the Borong hot springs 🥰 <br>Hospitality and food: The family that run this place are absolutely wonderful! The three sisters are all so cute and proud of what they are creating which made the energy of the place really, really lovely. Their parents and grandparents are also so sweet. They have a whole organic farm along with goats, cows and chickens which they are working on in the day. Which means all the food they make is super delicious, fresh and healthy. We had special pickled radish, fresh cottage cheese and butter, greens and yummy chicken. They also made us plenty of delicious cups of tea with ginger and other spices and snacks.
