3 Sisters' Homestay – A Serene Haven Amidst Nature
Where the hills whisper stories and every guest becomes family.
If you’ve ever longed for mornings that begin with birdsong and a cup of organic tea, welcome to our homestay in Dethang — a quiet village near Ravangla (South Sikkim), tucked away from the rush of city life. Run by three sisters and their parents, this isn’t just a place to sleep — it’s a place to slow down, reconnect, and feel at home.
The air here carries the scent of pine and cardamom, and from our sun-drenched patio, the hills roll out like a painted canvas. On clear days, you might spot Pelling’s Sky Walk glinting in the distance — but most guests say the real magic lies within: shared meals around the kitchen table, stories by the fire, and the kind of hospitality that feels like visiting old friends. Whether you’re here to hike, write, photograph, or simply rest, 3 Sisters’ Homestay offers a slower rhythm and a deeper connection to the land and its people.

A paradise place to feel good
An all-round perfect stay! A totally loving family that cooks healthy and delicious food. Plus very nice and clean rooms. The guesthouse is very quiet and nestled in nature. The peace and quiet and the view are absolutely fantastic! I was traveling with a scooter, so it was no problem to explore the area. But there is a very nice path to Ravangla (about 30 minutes). A perfect place to unwind!Julian Zimmermann, Apr 2025, Booking.com

Holiday · Solo This was one of my favorite places I've ever stayed. It had an amazing view from the common patio area. You could see far into the distance West Sikkim. The food was amazing and the hosts are very welcoming and friendly. The afternoon snacks were a nice bonus. There are trails (shortcuts) nearby. I took an amazing trek one day to Buddha Park. The trek was beautiful along the way. It wasn't easy for me but I very much appreciated the exercise and challenge of getting there. I hope to come back and stay here again! Holiday · Solo Solo female foreign traveller. I stayed here recently & found Three Sisters professionally managed and excellent value for money. The accommodation was comfortable & clean, and the food prepared was local village cuisine, tasty & nutritious. The homestay has a great closeknit family vibe, they welcome visitors as if they were also family. The views from the patio are spectacular!! Highly recommended. As a footnote - try their black ginger tea! One of the best things I've tasted in my life! Rooms: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Location: 4/5 Hotel highlights : Great view, Quiet, Child-friendly, Great value

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful homestay at Deythang, Ravangla in Sikkim, and it was an experience we'll cherish forever. The place was tucked away in a quiet corner, surrounded by stunning views that were a treat for the eyes and the soul. Every morning, we woke up to the soothing sounds of nature and breathtaking scenery that instantly put us at ease. The tranquility of the location was matched by the warmth of our hosts. They were incredibly kind and went out of their way to make us feel at home. They truly lived by the principle of "Atithi Devo Bhava" (the guest is God), treating us not just as guests but as part of their family. The food was simple but delicious, prepared with care and served with love. The host’s family, including their three daughters, was very friendly and cordial. We spent a lot of time talking with the host's family. One of the highlights of our trip was Sheru, the family dog. Sheru was extremely friendly and often accompanied us on our walks, eagerly guiding us through the paths like an old friend showing us around his hometown. We left the homestay with heavy hearts but took with us memories of a peaceful retreat, the kindness of a loving family, and the quiet companionship of Sheru. We can’t wait to go back to that lovely place in Sikkim. We truly miss everything about our stay and recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the mountains. Holiday · Couple One of the best homestays we have ever stayed at - such a gem. Location wise: It is a gorgeous extremely quiet location in the mountain village of Dethang with amazing views of the valley mountains, mt Pandim and Kanchenjunga. There is a beautiful trail that takes you into the small town of Ravangla and the Buddha Park - takes about 45 mins with a slow incline upwards through mountain farms and forest. There is also a trail to an amazing hidden waterfall with a pool of freezing Himalayan water that you can dip in! We also hired a car for the day and visited some beautiful monasteries as well as the Borong hot springs 🥰 <br>Hospitality and food: The family that run this place are absolutely wonderful! The three sisters are all so cute and proud of what they are creating which made the energy of the place really, really lovely. Their parents and grandparents are also so sweet. They have a whole organic farm along with goats, cows and chickens which they are working on in the day. Which means all the food they make is super delicious, fresh and healthy. We had special pickled radish, fresh cottage cheese and butter, greens and yummy chicken. They also made us plenty of delicious cups of tea with ginger and other spices and snacks.
